Peter Janssen

Currently the Cruising Editor of Power & Motoryacht, Peter Janssen has also been the editorial director of Yachting, the editorial director of Motor Boating, and the editor-in-chief and publisher of Motor Boating & Sailing. On powerboats, he has cruised extensively - on the east coast from Key West to the St. Lawrence and on the west coast from Mexico to Juneau, Alaska, plus many other parts of the world. He cruised his own Grand Banks 36 from Fort Myers, Florida, to the Keys and up to Norwalk, Connecticut, where he lived on board for several years. He has also driven a 47-foot Fountain race boat 162 mph, the fastest in the world. Janssen is a member of the New York Yacht Club and on the board of the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary Association.
